On Sunday 10th September, a bunch of the usual suspects (plus me) travelled to Brookland Raceway.
A first for me on two fronts that I've only ever previously raced at Aldershot and that this was the first real outing of my new Team Magic G4s.
The track was amazing, a real drivers track, with a satisfying set of straights and a tricky technical infield section. It was also much harder on the car pushing it into second gear around 5 times each lap, Marks Mugen suffered intermittently from second gear jamming due to this.

The atmosphere was great and even thou there were nationals going on else where and there was a smaller turn out than usual, everyone chipped in and the meeting went really well. We got to see some crazy 1/6th scale cars battle it out and the insanely fast 1/8th scale cars rip round the track at phenomenal speeds.
We did really well in the finals, Mark coming in second, Tom third and Dave a close Fourth. I was unable to enter the finals due to electronic problems but i still got to experience it all in the pits.

A big thank you goes out to everyone at Brooklands Club for making us welcome and for a great day of racing.
